Habitat for Humanity of Laramie County
 
 
 
Established in 1991, HFHLC has partnered with over 30 families in Cheyenne, Wyoming to provide safe and affordable housing for those in need. Aside from build homes, HFHLC also operates a Habitat ReStore which accepts and sells new and used home improvement/construction goods. AmeriCorps VISTAs assigned to HFHLC work with affiliate staff to expand the donor and volunteer base, research, write and submit grant applications and create community events aimed at raising funds and awareness for the need of safe and affordable housing.

Member Duties : AmeriCorps VISTA members will work with affiliate staff to raise funds and awareness for the need for safe and affordable housing. Responsibilities will also include community outreach, volunteer recruitment/management as well as developing a faith based relations program.
