Peace First - Contact Management Systems

Peace First is at an exciting point in its history. In 2013 we launched the Peace First Prize, which recognizes impressive young people (ages 8-22) for meaningful peacemaking work that creates lasting good in a community or school. Last October we announced 10 winners who currently serve as Peace First Fellows, and this January marked the beginning of our second annual Prize cycle. We have also launched the Peace First Digital Activity Center, a website that houses our signature peacemaking curriculum, a database of cooperative games, and many other resources. The Peace First curriculum is tailored to meet the developmental needs of young people and to help them develop and practice positive behaviors. We are in the process of identifying partners (schools and other youth-serving organizations) that can incorporate our program resources within their current models. The extensive groundwork and capacity-building completed during the VISTA project will enable Peace First to work towards its goal to substantially increase the number of low-income and at-risk students and communities we serve.
