National Coalition for the Homeless - Outreach Project
 
 
 
The National Coalition for the Homeless is a national non profit organization that serves as an advocate for our societies most vulnerable populations. Through the AmeriCorps*VISTA Program we engage members to serve in sites throughout the United States in areas of Outreach, Capacity Building, and Sustainability so that VISTA member's work will have a multiplying impact on the lives of many. VISTAs will be engaged in a variety of activities that focus on: public awareness, public speaking, veterans services, working with vulnerable populations. We currently have VISTA positions in Florida in Tampa, Orlando, Port Charlotte, and the Gold Coast. As well as in New Orleans, Hartford, Baltimore, and Denver.

Member Duties : The NCH Outreach VISTA Project will build the outreach systems through the development of either a sustainable Speaker's Bureau, Veterans Outreach model, or At Risk Youth Outreach model to ensure that the vital output of outreach is incorporated into connecting services to our vulnerable populations. VISTAs will be engaged in a variety of activities that focus on: public awareness, public speaking, veterans services, working with vulnerable populations.
