National Housing Trust Outreach and Impact VISTA (LitMN)
 
 
 
National Housing Trust (NHT) protects and improves affordable rental homes so low-income individuals and families can live in quality neighborhoods with access to opportunities. Serving over 2,200 residents across twelve affordable housing communities in the Washington D.C., Maryland, and Virginia region, NHT addresses the intersection of housing stability, economic opportunity, and community resilience.

Member Duties : The AmeriCorps VISTA will build capacity for National Housing Trust's Community Outreach and Impact services by: developing standardized indicators and evaluation tools to measure resident leadership, community ownership, and self-sufficiency across 12 affordable housing communities; creating training materials and guidance for Resident Service Coordinators; integrating tracking systems into Salesforce and property service plans; and conducting site visits and community scans to identify and cultivate strategic partnerships.
