Member Duties : Join Free Geek Twin Cities as an AmeriCorps VISTA member and help us advance our mission of promoting digital inclusion and environmental sustainability. In this role, you will be instrumental in expanding our education program and researching best practices for responsible e-waste recycling. Specifically, the FGTC VISTA member will research and design educational programs, workshops and curriculum on digital literacy and technology reuse, connect with schools, community organizations, to deliver educational content. Our member will also conduct thorough research on best practices for e-waste recycling, identify and evaluate responsible recycling methods. *Position is part of the Literacy Leadership AmeriCorps VISTA program of Literacy Minnesota (LitMN). Literacy Minnesota fosters an organizational culture that is welcoming & inclusive to all. Applications reviewed on rolling basis until filled.
