Destined for Greatness – Digital Learning Lab (LitMN)

The purpose of Destined for Greatness is to empower and motivate at-risk youth ages 11 to 21 years old. Our mission is to show these youth that no matter what their downfalls have been, there is always a way to rise up above. The DFG Mentoring Program provides tools to help young people truly become Destined for Greatness! We educate, encourage, and empower individuals to do things that once may have seemed impossible to achieve. The project goal is to build strong leaders and future professionals. We must stop the streets and crime from taking our future generations and turning them into mere statistics. Our topics include, but are not limited to: hygiene, self-esteem, education, digital literacy, and job readiness. Our DFG Digital Literacy learning lab is a curated space for all community members to come learn new skills, gain digital access and become tech savvy. We are the Detroit home base for all individuals and families in need of essential services. Our Literacy Leader will have a healthy and thriving environment to be a part of and gain professional development skillsets. This opportunity will allow you to contribute to the history being made throughout the world. ANTICIPATED START DATES: 10/23, 11/6 or 11/20.
