Corps Solutions of Dayton's mission is to engage youth, adults and families in the Dayton area through a variety of social service projects and activities; to empower our clients through recreation, education, citizenship and many other opportunities; to provide community resources such as shelter, employability skills and counseling in order to meet the needs of the individual or group; to work in conjunction with well established non-profit organizations to increase the capacity of each organization to provide these services to a larger client population; to work as a team to get thing done for our surrounding community. We seek energetic, hard-working, and compassionate people with leadership ability and a willingness to work with under served at-risk populations. Member Duties : Corps Solutions of Dayton engages individuals in a variety of service opportunities working with children, youth, and adults in and around the Dayton area on a full-time and part-time basis. Our AmeriCorps members are utilized as after-school program assistants, intake workers, health educators, domestic violence victim advocates, volunteer coordinators, resource providers, and technical educators.
