WSC 20-21 Peace Community Center Volunteer Engagement Lead

Peace Community Center creates transformational educational experiences for Hilltop youth and families of promise empowering future success in college, career, and community leadership. We envision a vibrant community where youth and families are life-long learners who use their diverse gifts to cultivate love, justice, and peace for generations to come. Our program model is a pathway model--we enrich the lives of the youth of Hilltop (2nd grade through College & Career) and their families through whole-person services, with a focus in academics and community leadership. We offer afterschool programming, one-on-one coaching with an academic coach, develop college and career readiness after graduation, family engagement events and workshops and more. We could not do all of this without the support of our volunteers. Peace Community Center's volunteers are integral in the mission and vision of the organization and have long served our students and our community through tutoring, enrichments, meal service, event support, professional development for our staff and volunteers, and more. The Volunteer Engagement Lead will support the Service Engagement & Data Intelligence Manager with volunteer recruitment, training, scheduling and recognition of our volunteers while growing the volunteer base and advancing individual and group partnerships. "This position is contingent on funding. This position is open until filled.
