Project HOPE Opioid Rescue Kit Program
 
 
 
Project HOPE will utilize the talents of a VISTA member to build the well needed infrastructure of the project by collaborating with community partners, recruiting volunteers, researching funding opportunities, and grant writing. The VISTAs duties will work to reduce the health risks associated with opioid addiction in at risk populations.

Member Duties : The VISTA member will work with the program coordinator to create two manuals for Project Hope; a policies/procedures and volunteer manual. This will help build the framework and guidelines for future project growth. Conducting outreach with community members and partner organizations will be an important duty of the VISTA member to increase the capacity of Project hope. The VISTA member will research federal and private foundation grants and assist in the grant writing effort. Finally the VISTA member will create a sustainability plan for ongoing Project Hope activities beyond the currently awarded revenue streams.
