Member Duties : During the course of service, the VISTA will:
•help coordinate projects and volunteers.
•participate in the planning process of future conservation work.
•engage local communities on the role of localize stormwater management and green storwwater infrastructure in contributing to our health and wellbeing, by attending and representing the projects at meetings and community events
•write reports tracking progress towards goals,
•Contribute to the development of e-newsletters to keep partners up to date and to grow the reach of the projects.
•develop hands-on restoration projects and events by organizing materials and volunteers, taking photographs, and soliciting and recording feedback on project work.
•learn facilitation, project management and conservation planning techniques,
•develop community education and outreach at events or other forums, and
•help develop new green space/parks/ multi-use facilities in underserved communities that reflect their use needs.
