4-H Youth Development Instructor- Idaho Falls
Teaching, leading, and facilitating youth development curriculum in STEAM based out-of-school time programs; Facilitating family engagement events; Serving as mentors and role models, teaching important life skills, and giving youth positive opportunities to explore the world around them in a fun, engaging, non-formal learning environment; Engaging new volunteers in their local programs to serve as 4-H leaders and event volunteers. Idaho 4-H AmeriCorps members will also submit regular progress reports and evaluate programs according to instructions, participate in required community service-learning projects and trainings and provide support and development of community partnerships.

Member Duties : Increase and implement knowledge of STEAM, Health and Nutrition and Animal Science on a daily basis ;Engage with clientele of all ages, backgrounds, and interests;Interact with the public, promoting University of Idaho Extension Programs, especially hands-on science-based learning; Lead or assist with camps and classes for youth and adults; Assist with 4-H STEM, Health and Nutrition, and Animal Science programs and projects; Help facilitate an After the Bell program at Dora Erickson Elementary for the coming school year; Facilitating family engagement events; Engaging new volunteers in their local programs to serve as program leaders and event volunteers; Submit regular progress reports; Evaluate programs according to instructions provided; Participate in required community service-learning projects; Participate in training provided by your site, 4-H Youth Development, and Serve Idaho; Provide support to the development and expansion of community partnerships
