| Member Duties : The specific service activities of AmeriCorps members will be defined by each host site to meet local community needs. Examples of direct services members may provide include planting, maintaining and harvesting a community garden; supporting school-aged residents of affordable housing communities by coordinating access to the internet, providing remote assistance with virtual learning, and addressing food insecurity; organizing food bank activities such as confirming, scheduling, filling and delivering orders; or aiding volunteer recruitment and training efforts.
