Farmacy Ohio VISTA Coordinator-OH Association of Foodbanks
 
 
 
The Ohio Association of Foodbanks represents Ohio's 12 Feeding America foodbanks. OAF provides food and other resources to people in need. The primary goal of this VISTA project is to support the expansion of Farmacy Ohio, an effective model for connecting people experiencing food insecurity to community-based healthy food resources through Ohio’s emergency food network. The VISTA member will build the capacity of Ohio’s foodbanks to strengthen agency partner engagement, enhance healthcare provider engagement, and utilize data to support program growth and continuous quality improvement. Through the development of standardized tools, training resources, and evaluation processes, the VISTA member will support sustainable, statewide implementation of Farmacy Ohio.

Member Duties : Ready to participate in building an innovative, statewide program at the intersection of food access and healthcare? The Ohio Association of Foodbanks is seeking a Farmacy Ohio VISTA Coordinator to drive the expansion of a growing initiative that connects people experiencing food insecurity with fresh, healthy food through partnerships between foodbanks, pantries, and healthcare providers. This is a ground-floor opportunity to shape training materials, build onboarding toolkits, develop evaluation and quality improvement processes, and strengthen foodbanks across Ohio as they launch and strengthen local partnerships. Ideal for recent graduates or those transitioning into nonprofit or public health careers, this role offers hands-on experience in systems change, program design, and stakeholder engagement while making a meaningful statewide impact. **Benefits include a monthly $200 housing stipend to supplement living costs.**
