Capacity Building Coordinator - Mid-Ohio Collective

At Mid-Ohio Food Collective, we work through five assets in an effort to end hunger. They are the Mid-Ohio Foodbank, Mid-Ohio Farm, Mid-Ohio Kitchen, Mid-Ohio Farmacy and Mid-Ohio Markets. We are continually striving to meet the food resource needs in our communities. In calendar year 2025, we are upgrading our warehouse and inventory systems which will build better efficiencies across our network. This change will allow us to delve deeper into the practices of our network and to understand their trends and habits so we might be able adjust and pivot to the specific needs of individuals, families, agencies, communities, etc.

Member Duties : Join the effort to end hunger! You will learn key skillsets around food inventory systems, track usage trends, and recommend new service methods. As our VISTA member, you will explore the ordering trends and practices of our partner network, learning and strategically improving upon how we build capacity within our service area. Assessing how food is currently disseminated throughout our network, you will develop plans to ensure fair food distribution to our partners and improve food acquisition in the process. Collecting key metrics on our 620 partner agencies, you will import data into informational ARC/GIS maps to visually display relevant information for cross-departmental use. Finally, you will also create a tracking system, documenting agency profiles and making them accessible across our organization. Join our team today!
