Flint Community School Corps
The Crim Fitness Foundation supports hosts the Flint Community Schools Corps comprised of 34 AmeriCorps State members who will provide mentoring through virtual learning support, physical activities, conflict resolution, college preparation, and access to social services during and after-school, and in the summer for K-12 grade students while building capacity for community education in all 14 Flint area schools. AmeriCorps members address the root problems of underachievement, improve student academic performance (with a focus in literacy and STEM courses) and school attendance, and reduce student disciplinary incidents.

Member Duties : FCSC members will focus on mentoring students that have been identified as chronically absent.
