BYDC Coalition Coordinator
 
 
 
BYDC (Bonneville Youth Development Coalition) is a nonprofit organization that works to lower substance use among youth in Bonneville County. We do this through promoting positive community involvement, collaboration and working towards creating a community culture free of substance use. Our organization serves all of Bonneville county reaching from Idaho Falls to Irwin. VISTA member will work to create positive involvement between BYDC and the community through developing the coalition program. Member will learn how to organize and run a coalition. Member will learn how to develop organizational polices, protocols and procedures as well as program sustainability to ensure sustainability of BYDC’s mission to lower substance use among youth. We are looking for someone who has in public speaking skills or is willing to gain these skills upon hire. BYDC would love to have you on board to help us lower substance use among youth and help us make this community a better, safer place.

Member Duties : Work to create positive involvement between BYDC and the community through developing protocols for the coalition program. Identify potential coalition and coalition members and develop on boarding protocol. Develop coalition marketing materials. Work with BYDC to develop the “It’s My Future” program through developing partners and events such as a youth fair.
