BYDC Fundraising Coordinator
 
 
 
BYDC (Bonneville Youth Development Coalition) is a nonprofit organization that works to lower substance use among youth in Bonneville County. We do this through promoting positive community involvement, collaboration and working towards creating a community culture free of substance use. Our organization serves all of Bonneville county reaching from Idaho Falls to Irwin with a main focus on serving youth. VISTA member will establish a two-part fundraising program consisting of grants and local fundraising. Member will learn how to write grants, collect and report data and improve public speaking skills. Fundraising and grant sustainability allow BYDC to maintain a positive involvement and benefit youth and the community. Member will learn how to develop organizational polices, protocols and procedures. We are looking for someone who has public speaking and writing skills or is seeking to acquire these skills. BYDC would love to have you on board to help us lower substance use among our youth in the and make this community a better, safer place.

Member Duties : Establish a two-part fundraising program consisting of grants and local fundraising. Learn how to work with data as you collect and report on relevant data from various fundraising events. Develop grant writing skills as you write grants and maintain a grant database system. Develop protocols and procedures for fundraising through development of sponsor lists for events and long-term program sustainability.
