AmeriCorps Life Coach Project
 
 
 
AmeriCorps Members, serving as Life Coaches, will help Arkansans who struggle economically and lack either basic skills or have little education. Through this service and experience, members will make an impact on people's economic futures. Additionally, members will gain essential skills and knowledge for themselves that can help in future work endeavors. Members will serve in the following AR Cities: Camden, Helena, North Little Rock, Monticello, Rogers, and Van Buren.

Member Duties : AmeriCorps members will serve directly with adult education students as a Life Coach in an adult education program. Half-time members will be providing one-to-and/or classroom setting tutoring to adult students on a weekly basis. Members are supervised by a Site Supervisor at the Adult Education Center. This is a great opportunity for individuals considering a career in social work, education, or working with adults.
