HomeFront Lawrence Community Center Engagement VISTA
 
 
 
The project aims to connect low-income residents of Mercer County with high-quality services to move towards self-sufficiency including case management, emergency assistance, food distribution, after school tutoring and enrichment, computer labs, and more. This will be accomplished by both conducting new and innovative outreach for existing programs and also developing new programming responsive to the greatest needs of the community.

Member Duties : -Develop and pilot a community engagement plan by gathering background on best practices and developing new and innovative programming -Increase visibility and quality of services at Lawrence Community Center by researching, establishing, and utilizing communications tools, reaching new clients and guests, and developing on-site programming
 
Program Benefits : Living Allowance ,  Choice of Education Award or End of Service Stipend ,  Childcare assistance if eligible ,  Education award upon successful completion of service ,  Housing .
