HomeFront Resource Network VISTA - Food Acess/Client Choice

This project will ensure that low-income families have reliable access to food and basic necessities, as well as expand client choice related to food, hygiene items, clothing, housewares, furniture, and more – components critical to ensuring that families thrive with dignity. The current economic crisis has highlighted the importance of access to nutritious, readily available food. This project will explore developing additional food pantry outposts and opening a choice food pantry that would empower families to have choice and support for specific dietary needs. This project will also explore options for increased choice within other existing HomeFront programs, providing dignity to low-income families who often have fewer options to have a voice in items they receive.
