HomeFront Resource Network VISTA Member – Diaper Bank Leader
 
 
 
The project will build New Jersey’s first large-scale diaper and feminine hygiene bank – the HomeFront Diaper Resource Center. HomeFront has always provided diapers to low-income families but we are excited to create a sustainable model in partnership with additional agencies and individuals to expand access and combat diaper need. Specifically, the project will develop systems for distribution to partnering agencies and individuals, developing a volunteer corps to maintain adequate inventory, and building partnerships to obtain free and low-cost diapers from the community.

Member Duties : -Research and implement a diaper and feminine hygiene product acquisition, inventory, and distribution model by identifying industry best practices, establishing inventory control systems, and expanding diaper and feminine hygiene product distribution -Develop a sustainable operations model by developing volunteer leaders to support Diaper Resource Center efforts and identifying/developing financial support
