Greenville Workforce Equity Initiative: Employer Relations
 
 
 
The Community Employment Pipeline aims to help reduce poverty through a collaborative employment initiative that brings together grassroots organizations, community agencies, and major institutions to form a workforce development partner pipeline that supports job seekers from recruitment through training and on to employment at a living wage. As a systems approach, this project aims to improve the delivery of workforce development resources, strengthen interagency collaboration, and improve local workforce equity standards.

Member Duties : This VISTA position will work to develop strong relationships between the Community Employment Pipeline (CEP) and local employers. This relationship will be established through employer representation in pipeline development, implementation of uniform employer standards, and employer MOU’s to use our pipeline as a hiring pool.
