Greenville Workforce Equity Initiative: Outreach Coordinator
 
 
 
The Community Employment Pipeline aims to help reduce poverty through a collaborative employment initiative that brings together grassroots organizations, community agencies, and major institutions to form a workforce development partner pipeline that supports job seekers from recruitment through training and on to employment at a living wage. As a systems approach, this project aims to improve the delivery of workforce development resources, strengthen interagency collaboration, and improve local workforce equity standards.

Member Duties : This VISTA position will work to increase access for community members from the target population to connect to partner programs for workforce development, develop and maintain a database to track volunteers and related community assets, coordinate the distribution of information into the target community, and increase the number of trained community volunteers that can participate in the development of solutions in workforce equity.
