Greenville Workforce Equity Initiative Education Coordinator
 
 
 
The Community Employment Pipeline aims to help reduce poverty through a collaborative employment initiative that brings together grassroots organizations, community agencies, and major institutions to form a workforce development partner pipeline that supports job seekers from training through recruitment and on to employment at a living wage. As a systems approach, this project aims to improve the delivery of workforce development resources, strengthen interagency collaboration, and improve local workforce equity standards.

Member Duties : This VISTA position will work to increase opportunities for education attainment and job placement for the target population by investigating/initiating community pipeline partnerships & community workforce readiness training locations as well as identify other training resources to support the Community Employment Pipeline (CEP).
