Position Responsibilities Include: Provide assistance to given caseload students with their classroom assignments Provide homework help and enriching activities in the TLAA afterschool program Track the number of hours spent on academic support with students Build relationships with students, staff and parents Help plan and coordinate community service projects

Member Duties : Provide assistance to given caseload students with their classroom assignments Provide homework help in the afterschool program Track the number of hours spent on academic support with students Build relationships with students, staff and parents Track the attendance of select students and make any necessary phone calls to parents/guardians about excessive absences/ tardiness. Ensure effective communication with program manager, site supervisor, school personnel, parents, and students at assigned site. Track academic progress of caseload students during each report card cycle. Coordinate innovative and enriching afterschool activities/workshops for students in the TLAA program that builds executive function and social emotional skills. Help plan and coordinate community service projects Attend professional development trainings and track all trainings/service hours in the ‘My service log’ portal.
