The position will build capacity of NEI3A ability to serve the community through developing a Friendly Caller program that will address social isolation of elderly through utilization of volunteers to make reassurance checks to home bound elderly. And through the development and improvement of volunteer recruitment activities and policy, procedure, recognition and retention related to NEI3A volunteer program, which uses a large number of volunteers to deliver meals to home bound elderly, many who are economically disadvantaged.
