Service Location: Mount Union University, Aug 5, 2021 - May 31, 2022 Required Minimum Service Hours: approximately 15 hours per week, a minimum total of 450 hours by the end of service. General Service Schedule: Coordinator will serve 15 hours per week during the service dates listed above. Service hours typically take place during normal business hours Monday through Friday, but some campus needs may require evening or weekend service. While the initial weekly schedule can be flexible, it should be maintained throughout the service period. Occasional evening and weekend hours outside the Coordinator’s set schedule are required. Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma and some college experience; At least 18 years of age; Must pass criminal background check and drug screen; Maintain valid driver’s license; Professional written and oral communication skills; The ability to lift up to 20 pounds; Flexibility to serve occasional hours outside of set schedule for special projects and training Member/Program Benefits: Opportunity to be a part of a national service movement and serve with a cohort of other committed AmeriCorps members across the state of Ohio; Build community, gain valuable skills and expand your professional network; Living Stipend up to $4,001.00 to be paid monthly; Education Award up to $1,638.89 at the completion of the service term; Access to member health care and child care subsidy (full-time only)

Member Duties : Duties Include: • Assist students in meeting their academic and non-academic needs by connecting students to campus and community resources • Identify campus and community resources; foster and maintain relationships with community partners • Conduct intake assessments, input data accurately, and follow-up • Comply with all AmeriCorps program guidelines by maintaining all service hours, training hours, and service projects independently as outlined in the Ohio Campus Compact AmeriCorps Member Service Agreement (MSA) • Plan civic engagement opportunities with students and campus through AmeriCorps Days of Service • Attend all required training, monthly member meetings & staff meetings & participate in AmeriCorps service projects • Understand and promote the Mission and Vision of Ohio Campus Compact that values diversity, equity and inclusion, and celebrates the positive aspects of a multicultural society
