UCAP YouthCAP Program Development
 
 
 
The UCAP Resource person will increase the exposure and the number of volunteers, youth, seniors, and Spanish-speaking families for programs across the agency. Assist with scheduling of donations and food pantry clients also assist with IT issues within the agency. Work with our UCAPWorks Training and Job referral resources for individuals in the community. The location of this project will be held at UCAP’S main office located in Capitol Heights, Maryland. The outcomes will result in increased education and healthy lifestyles of individuals in Prince George’s County, Maryland.

Member Duties : The objective of this program are to: YouthCap Works- Curriculum Development Create a Year-Around-Program Nutritional Speakers Build relationships with seniors in the community Oversee the youth in the community Marketing of the program (through social media, o Increase partnerships Volunteer Program- Assist with overseeing the volunteers and volunteer projects UCAPWorks Develop an educational program for individuals seeking a GED and High School Diploma Build a tutoring program for adults and students Build relationships with potential employers Build a curriculum based on the needs of the employer
