Economic Impact Project Coordinator_VISTA
 
 
 
The goal of the VISTA project is to build capacity through the enhancement of ProGeny Place Employee Assistance & Resource Network (E.A.R.N.) operational processes and training program. Our initiative to support low-income Mid-South residents obtain job skills which will prepare them for employment. Wrap around support is provided to address barriers such as transportation, daycare, housing, and financial literacy. E.A.R.N. is designed to provide living-wage earning opportunities in the local job market to disadvantaged workers. The VISTA will develop 1) develop a workforce development pipeline, 2) expand partnerships, and 3) create an infrastructure to efficiently measure program performance.

Member Duties : 1) Develop a firm knowledge base of ProGeny Place, E.A.R.N initiative and their role in the community in preparation to improve upon and expand outreach for workforce development, partnerships, and performance measures. | 2) Create an infrastructure to efficiently measure program performance. Develop systems for organizational efficiency and effectiveness which will include creating a tracking method of program outcomes and participant real time statistical data producing evidence based reporting. | 3) Expand partnerships through initiating efforts with other organizations (i.e. nonprofits, faith organizations, Chamber of Commerce, Community Development Centers (CDC), area community organizations) collaborating on programming, referrals, sharing staff/resources, and developing training materials that are shared.
