| Member Duties : The VISTA member will help to revise policies, procedures, and documents to improve the effectiveness and sustainability of Storytime Village’s educational programming.
Member activities will include:
1. Developing curriculum and programming manual/documents for Storytime Village programs.
2. Research community organizations, educational institutions, and businesses to identify partners in the field of literacy.
3. Produce quality reports that can be used to improve recruitment and registration systems for parent workshops and literacy mentor training during your VISTA member service term.
4. Complete monthly reports for in-school and summer programs.
5. Research ways to share the impact of Storytime Village’s work in the community and develop a brief external engagement plan to increase the number of students and families receiving literacy services during VISTA year of service.
