*Applicant will need to provide Covid-19 vaccine documentation* Civic House is Penn's hub for civic engagement, centering community organizations and social justice education, promoting mutually beneficial collaborations between Penn and Philadelphia community-based organizations and schools. As such, we seek to elevate community voices and issues that inform opportunities for collaboration through various activities and programs. In these programs, through social justice education, training, and workshops, Civic House prepares students for responsible community engagement and empowers them to become advocates for social change. VietLead’s mission is to develop leadership in the Vietnamese community in solidarity with other communities of color towards improving health, increasing self-determination, and strengthening the political power of our community. Our vision is to organize our community toward a future in which everyone can thrive culturally, economically, socially, and politically in Philadelphia and South Jersey. The VISTA member will help us achieve our goals by supporting fundraising to sustain capacity, helping establish longer-term fundraising goals and processes, and assisting with communications.
