Pine Apple Community Engagement Coordinator VISTA
 
 
 
The Pine Apple/W.J. Jones Alumni Association Inc. stated purposes and goals, to wit: to provide the community of Pine Apple, Alabama with a tutorial program to improve educational skills of the youth in Pine Apple, Alabama and surrounding areas of Wilcox County, Alabama; to program in conjunction with other resources to improve adult literacy in Wilcox County; and to provide a physical fitness program to increase the level of fitness for youth and adults in Wilcox County, Alabama.

Member Duties : The Community Engagement Coordinator will communicate with participants and stakeholders to coordinate efforts that will lead to family independence and poverty alleviation. They will create activities to enhance strategic planning for the board of directors. The VISTA will coordinate fund raising efforts to support Pine Apple/W.J. Jones Alumni Association, Inc. programming. They will also increase the visibility of the organization. on various platforms.
