LEAP is a 501(c)3 organization founded and operated by people with disabilities. The agency provides information, education, training, employment support, and independent living services to people with disabilities and promotes social change that will improve their quality of life. LEAP does this with a mission to advance a society of equal opportunity for all persons, regardless of disability. In a demonstration of LEAP’s commitment to this mission, the majority of LEAP’s staff and board members are people with disabilities themselves.

Member Duties : Linking Employment, Abilities & Potential (LEAP) is an agent of positive change, working to advance participation and equality in society for people with disabilities in Northeast Ohio. The VISTA will help build the capacity of LEAP through program evaluation, instructor training and new program development. Specifically assisting with focus groups, research, and developing curriculum.
