ShareCorps-Lodi Family Center-Food Program Development

This project will be expanding services available in an old school building. The mission of this project is to actively engage the community in the creation of a community center that will reduce food insecurity by providing opportunities that include access to food, nutrition lessons, cooking demos/lessons, community resources, and other creative learning opportunities. We desire to make this facility a fun and safe place for anyone to come and participate in activities. These include family carnivals, community garden projects, community meals, and health fairs. Of course, the emergency food pantry and community resources will be open for all who need them!
