Festa - Marketing Associate

Since 2007, Festa has been serving our neighbors and ending poverty through life-changing relationships. We are a non-profit devoted to serving children and families facing poverty through our flagship program: 3-Generation Family ESL. This unique, nationally recognized program welcomes families from 91 home countries and 52 Ohio zip codes into one space where adults learn English while children receive homework help, social support, preschool and dinner. We serve more than 1,300 families annually, supporting them as they move from surviving to thriving. North Star: We must GROW Festa's 3-Generation Family ESL program across the United States so that all immigrant children and their families – immigrants, refugees, political asylees and migrants – have the education they need to thrive, so our communities and workplaces thrive. Festa's areas of focus: 1. Removing barriers to employment for parents by improving their English language skills. 2. Providing developmental enrichment for children: early literacy, homework help, leadership and entrepreneurial training. 3. Rallying a community of support to surround each member of the family.

Member Duties : The VISTA Marketing Associate will develop, produce, and distribute creative and engaging marketing strategies and products for three Festa initiatives to promote organizational growth: A feature-length documentary, the Festa Training Department, and Columbus International Festival. They will also play a key role in following up and managing relationships with new partners recruited as a result of these marketing initiatives. The VISTA member will develop new systems and protocols around the growth of these initiatives and collaborate with staff to develop a new online platform for our training materials. The ideal candidate is someone interested in media creation, videography, advertising, and who enjoys collaborating with others. Benefits include a monthly $200 housing stipend to supplement living costs.
