| Member Duties : The VISTA will develop an effective community engagement program to increase education and awareness regarding NHCD’s resources to help stabilize vulnerable families at risk of displacement. They will develop an affirmative marketing campaign to raise awareness of the City’s displacement mitigation strategies and affordable housing programs, and coordinate with stakeholders, grantees and participating organizations in reaching vulnerable populations within the community.
In addition, the VISTA will research practices in other cities to determine their metrics and how they were tracked. They will develop and implement appropriate evaluation metrics to measure NHCD’s effectiveness in new displacement mitigation programming by collecting data on MFI served, funding source and allocation, units yielded and other appropriate data. And they will establish appropriate reporting requirements with help from NHCD team and Innovation Office.
