| Member Duties : The VISTA member at this site will 1.) Build the capacity of James River Basin Partnership outreach programs to provide water quality education
to Title One schools and rural communities throughout the James River watershed, 2.) Work with James River Basin Partnership staff and local contacts to increase capacity for litter cleanups and place-based learning opportunities for low-income youth, 3.) Work in partnership with the Missouri Smallflows Organization to build an outreach program to provide career education to Title One schools and rural communities throughout the James River watershed, and 4.) Build an outreach program to provide homeowner education pertaining to onsite wastewater treatment systems. This program will reach out to youth in high school, and work to reach out to veteran or low income family organizations in Springfield.
