Notre Dame AmeriCorps - Greater Boston

Notre Dame - AmeriCorps seeks dedicated individuals who would like to serve in an education capacity. Our members serve in diverse settings that are under-resourced. Students our members serve are low-income and dedicated to their studies. Most sites in Greater Boston and Tampa engage students in extended school days and long academic years. Members help teachers plan creative classes that engage students through non-traditional pedagogies that incorporate hands-on, project based learning in all of our classes. In addition to assisting in the classroom, members also lead small group projects to engage students in new fields like Comic Book Making, Environmental Science, Art, and Robotics. Members typically live in community houses (costs covered by sites) with other members.
