Coordinated Entry VISTA Project- VOA, Houston County

The VISTA project will have an integral role in assisting the Georgia Department of Community Affairs (Housing and Finance Authority) in expanding the Balance of State (BOS) Coordinated Entry System (CES) throughout Georgia. CES serves individuals and families experiencing homelessness, chronic homelessness or who are at risk of being homeless. Coordinated Entry is a HUD (Housing and Urban Development) mandated system through which individuals and families experiencing homelessness are matched with appropriate housing and service interventions. The Georgia CES will eventually include 152 of Georgia’s 159 counties. the majority of the counties are classified as rural. The CES VISTA project will contribute to strategic planning, development and data collection and management associated with CES implementation. This opportunity is located in Houston County and we strongly prefer a candidate who is from Middle Georgia and/or has knowledge of resources in Middle Georgia.
