United Way of King County is a local leader in developing and funding innovative anti-poverty programs to help people in need and solve our community’s toughest challenges. To be eligible for this position, candidates must commit to serve full-time for one year with United Way.*** United Way of King County’s mission is to bring caring people together to give, volunteer, and take action to help people in need and solve our community’s toughest challenges. The VISTA member will serve along with 28 VISTA members working to fight poverty in King County.

Member Duties : United Way of King County is a local leader in developing and funding innovative anti-poverty programs to help people in need and solve our community’s toughest challenges.The Housing Stability VISTA will build an effective monitoring and evaluation tool to evaluate data, plan and implement 6 events including creating an event portfolio for small, medium, large events; recruiting and mobilizing 100 agencies and 300 volunteers; and develop the infrastructure, project type, timeline for kit-building projects for volunteers prior to each event.
