Member Duties : Alternatives to Managing Pain AmeriCorps members will provide friendly visitation to homebound older adults (age 50+) experiencing pain, provide transportation services to in-home clients to pain management alternatives, assist community agencies in educating and assisting their clients on nonmedical alternatives to managing pain, recruit adults and volunteers to participate in site programs and activities, assist with outreach and marketing efforts, collect and compile data for evaluation and reports, assist with health education workshops and events.
