Southeastern Tidewater Opportunity Project (STOP)'s Youth Development Initiative has a long history of providing low-income and youth with supportive initiatives designed to enhance the educational efficacy of it participants. STOP’s Youth Development Initiative is looking to establish impactful programs in underserved areas and close educational gaps by exposing those communities to technology. The VISTA will help STOP’s Youth Development Initiative fulfill this goal by creating a to expand the Technology Bus Program

Member Duties : The VISTA member will develop marketing materials to strengthen the image of STOP’s Youth Development Initiative to the public. The Individual will conduct needs assessments and analyze data to determine the communities with the most need. Once communities are identified the VISTA will determine partners in those communities and develop outreach materials to attract potential clients in those communities. In addition and as a part of the assessment process the VISTA member will identify funding sources to include grants, foundations, and individuals to assist STOP in its Technology efforts.
