EarthLinks Program VISTA 2
 
 
 
EarthLinks is a 24 year old nonprofit that provides a gardening and craft workshop serving adults experiencing homelessness. Sales of produce and crafts produced in its social enterprise provide a stipend to the homeless participants. The peer and social services received while at EarthLinks historically results in ~60% rate of housing stabilization. EarthLinks would like to increase the number of participants served and investigate new income sources that could result in increased payment to participants.

Member Duties : Program Vista: Program Vista: Revise as necessary intake documents and recordkeeping for programming; review and revise metrics reporting for program; complete feasibility study for increasing payment to workshop participants; update current logic model; work on climate change and homelessness/poverty intersection analysis with goal of publication; Assist with social enterprise expansion and improve data collection for participant outcomes and improve support services. Assist in all aspects of the sales and retail process, including consignment sales opportunities and development of participant sales people. Represent EarthLinks in the community at various community and fundraising events. Grant writing and reporting as necessary.
