Community Strategist VISTA- Family Promise of Pulaski County
 
 
 
While making new friends and having fun, the Community Strategist VISTA for Family Promise will work deeply within the general and faith-based communities engaging in opportunities to prospect and target congregations, corporations, civic, sorority and fraternity groups and other organized entities and individuals for involvement in current and planned FPPC initiatives. The Community Strategist VISTA will develop relationships with these parties, promoting the FPPC program, develop collaborative ways to engage employees, from local businesses and corporations, in volunteer service. They will work on building and fostering core groups of entities to support the establishment and ongoing operations of a downtown community day resource center to include in-kind services and financial support.

Member Duties : The Community Strategist VISTA will take the lead in a highly visible position with Family Promise. They will develop, foster and grow relationships with organizations, agencies, faith-based and government entities, and businesses and corporation to engage mutual collaborations in support of like-minded missions. The VISTA will promote the FPPC program, navigate ways to engage employees, from local businesses and corporations, in volunteer service. They will also work on building and fostering core groups of entities to support the establishment and ongoing operations of a downtown community day resource center to include in-kind services and financial support.
