EarthLinks Outreach and Communications VISTA
 
 
 
Sales of produce and crafts provide a stipend to the homeless participants. The peer and social services received while at EarthLinks historically results in ~75% rate of housing stabilization. EarthLinks would like to continue to improve its internal and external systems of communication, including social and print media and other forms of communication, streamline volunteer scheduling and management, improve marketing of its products, and expand its marketing reach. The Outreach and Communications VISTA will facilitate and recruit for volunteer work on site and at tabling events, develop content for social media, help with events and tabling opportunities and help with donor data management and acknowledgements.

Member Duties : This position will focus on fundraising, donor management, volunteer management, and the creation and implementation of a social media plan. VISTA members will assist with developing scheduling and training materials and creating a system for thanking volunteers and reporting of outputs and outcomes. Members will represent EarthLinks in the community at various community events. VISTAs will work directly with the Deputy Director, volunteers, our Administrative Assistant and our Production Manager to develop these projects and skills.
