Member Duties : Primary Responsibilities:
Assist with leading volunteer groups in Farm based activities, tours, and programming.
Maintain teaching space and materials.
Learn and apply innovative high desert farming techniques including infrastructure development, installation & maintenance as related to member service.
Maintain diverse crops through pruning, harvesting, and cultivation.
Prepare site for plantings and crop production.
Engage youth field trips and student groups in hands on activities
Secondary responsibilities:
Develop strategies to maximize time efficiency and production.
Identify problems or areas for improvement, make suggestions and design solutions to lessons, teaching spaces, and teaching techniques.
Assist and train volunteers to aid in production and programming.
