GS Hunger Center - Volunteer Coordinator & Capacity Builder

Good Samaritan Hunger Center is a hunger relief agency which serves all of Summit County. Unlike other pantries, we are a mobile pantry and take our goods directly to the communities we serve. We conduct a Hot Meal program, a food pantry/grocery distribution program and serve several schools and athletes kids weekend backpack program. Good Samaritan Hunger Center exists with the help of over 75 monthly volunteers. We are seeking to increase this capacity as well as the capacity to serve the population of Akron/Summit County. Good Samaritan Hunger Center strives to increase access to fresh, free, and healthy food for its consumers.
