US Together CLE Community Engagement Specialist
 
 
 
The mission of US Together is to facilitate the social and economic integration of immigrants and refugees through client-centered and culturally appropriate services. US Together is the premier service provider to limited English proficiency (LEP) clients. Our programs reduce poverty among the LEP and refugee communities and remove barriers to self-sufficiency and employment. The VISTA member's primary focus will be to advance the visibility of refugees and immigrants by creating productive messaging, developing a public outreach campaign, attending community events and serving in a public relations capacity for the Cleveland office of US Together. They will work on fundraising creating new programs and channels to increase our donor base. They will also assist US Together leadership with an Advisory Council of community leaders in the Cleveland area.

Member Duties : The member will be part of a team based approach to increase the community awareness and support of US Together the refugee populations that we serve. Specific duties will include researching data on current and potential funders and fundraising opportunities, assisting with grant writing and developing fundraising events. The VISTA member will develop marketing and fundraising materials and assist with the overall marketing strategy and attend community events to ultimately recruit community members to be part of the Cleveland Advisory Council which will guide the US Together staff in leveraging the impact of US Together.
