CoCDF - Family Engagement Specialist

For more than twenty years the Community of Caring Development Foundation (CoCDF) has continued its commitment to investing in the lives of individuals and families in the Linden Community guided by our mission to "Build a Connected Community" Through its successful public/private partnerships model, CoCDF has provided access to affordable housing for more than 1,000 families, served over 300,000 meals, secured more than $500,000 in community grants and presented more than $70,000 in academic scholarships. As a faith-based non-profit entity we are uniquely positioned at the market-place intersection of sacred (vertical) and secular (horizontal) needs. The Linden Fresh Market opened in September of 2021 to help people in Linden and beyond increase their quality of life. Access to healthy food is one of the most significant ways to impact health and wellness. Shoppers have access to fresh fruits and vegetables, milk, and bread five days a week. The addition of a VISTA member will build upon the foundation of building a connected community.
