Breakthrough Cincinnati transforms the lives of young people through our unique academic enrichment experiences. Our 6-week summer program, school year program, and college bound program events give vulnerable middle school students a boost through academic, leadership, and college preparatory experiences. At Breakthrough Cincinnati, students experience “it’s cool to be smart” culture that inspires them to adopt a college-going mindset and prepares them for the rigors of college. Alongside their also motivated peers, they learn from college-aged Teaching Fellows who really connect with them. The organization’s over 30-year, time-tested, students-teaching-students model empowers youth and college students to achieve their potential as learners, teachers, and agents of change in their communities.

Member Duties : Breakthrough Cincinnati is seeking an engaging, empathetic self-starter to join our team. We are expanding our School Year Program and College Bound Program to serve more students. We seek a partner to build capacity in our tutoring, college and career readiness programs, evaluative data administration, social media contribution, and volunteer recruitment. Some of the projects include the completion of a multi-year program plan, introduction of new college and career partners, and the enhancement of a multi-faceted food assistance program. If you love students and care about equity and social justice, this could be your perfect gig. Join our team of changemakers! **Benefits include a monthly $200 housing stipend to supplement living costs.**
